Lewis System of Iowa, Inc. is one of the oldest armored car companies in the nation. Founded by Harry Lewis in 1931, Lewis System of Iowa has been a mainstay security company in Iowa. In the 1970's, Lewis System really focused on two distinct types of business; quality armored car services and courier services. Lewis System has concentrated on serving all of Iowa. Lewis System's sister company, Rochester Armored Car Company, Inc., operates in Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Texas. With common ownership and management, these companies together can provide services over a large geographical area and offer seamless service with consolidated billings and our point of contract. The Lewis System key operational management teams are located in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids, Iowa with the Corporate Office located in Omaha, Nebraska. Lewis System has grown to eight offices strategically located throughout Iowa.
